Songs of America. Let that sink in. For years, I have sat back and admired the many songs that so proudly represent this beautiful country. I love expression of patriotism, and thought that this would be a great way to express mine. This album is in collaboration with the Mathews VA250 committee, which is planning local celebrations for the 250th Anniversary of America, of which I am a member. They asked, so I delivered! Special thanks to Carolyn Smith, for allowing me to use the barn at her beautiful home, Sycamore Branch, as the backdrop for the covers. I don’t think it could have turned out any better!
